The house of Cartier reminds that acceptance of applications for the 2021 contest will end July 31, 2020 at 14:00 CET.Cartier Women’s Initiative’s international business program launched in 2006 by Cartier in partnership with the INSEAD business school with the aim of supporting entrepreneurs worldwide. The annual program is open to women who are heads and governing their own business. In the program can participate in social projects and business projects aimed at the preservation and protection of the environment. Since 2006 the programme has supported 240 women entrepreneurs from more than 56 countries, allocating more than $ 3 million on the development of their business. 26 may 2020 hosted the first international online conference for women entrepreneurs with the participation of the head of the Cartier Women’s Initiative Windi Sampaio. In 2021 the first time since inception of the award program will be expanded with new nomination. In addition to 7 regional awards will introduce a new thematic category Science & Technology Pioneer Award. The nomination aims to support women entrepreneurs with innovative projects in the field of science and technology.Eight winners of the award will receive a prize of 100 000 dollars, the other 16 finalists of the prize in amount of 30 000 USD. All finalists will receive support in the development of strategic financial thinking, finding a mentor, media coverage and opportunities for international cooperation. Also they will be given the opportunity to join one of the programs of the business school INSEAD, specializing in maximizing the social component of business.
