Bayer Leverkusen are putting out feelers for a Czech talent in response to Florian Wirtz’s long-term injury.

Wirtz replacement: In the search for a replacement for the injured Florian Wirtz, Bayer 04 Leverkusen seem to have found what they were looking for in Prague, as “Bild” reports. Accordingly, Bayer is interested in Adam Hlozek (19) from Sparta Prague, who can occupy almost any position in an offensive row of three.

Flexibility: This flexibility is also necessary because the potential newcomer is to temporarily replace Florian Wirtz. And even if Wirtz comes back, Hlozek should play a major role. Wirtz tore his cruciate ligament in March. A return of the national player is not expected until the end of the year.

Goal threat: Hlozek also benefits from his goal threat. Last season he scored 12 goals in 46 games and prepared 15 more. His contract in Prague runs until 2024.
