Bangladesh executed the killer of the first President of the country

NEW DELHI, 11 Feb – RIA Novosti. Bangladesh authorities have executed the sentence of one of the murderers of President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a former army officer of Bangladesh Abdul Majid was executed in Central prison of Dhaka, reports the Week.

President Rahman was assassinated on 15 August 1975 at his residence in Dhaka with his wife, three sons, other relatives and friends of the family. Survived by only two daughters who were abroad.
