The court in corner case of the deadly road accident with participation of the actor of Michael Efremova will begin July 29. It is reported TASS with reference to the press service of the Presnensky court where will take place the process.
A preliminary hearing will be held next Wednesday morning at 11:00, behind closed doors.
The actor is accused of violation of traffic rules in a state of intoxication, entailed on imprudence death of the person. It is threatened by punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term from 5 to 12 years.
According to investigators, June 8, Mikhail Efremov drove with a functioning Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland in a state of alcoholic or narcotic intoxication. He followed the direction from Leninsky prospect in the direction of Noviy Arbat street, exceeded the speed limit, lost landmarks of the boundaries of the lanes of the road and drove into the oncoming lane. Despite this, Mikhail Efremov did not reduce speed, tried to stop the car and continued driving. As a result, his car collided with vis-234900, with the ruble which was the inhabitant of the Ryazan region Sergey Zakharov. The pickup driver died in hospital from multiple injuries.
On 9 June, the Tagansky court of Moscow has sent Ephraim under house arrest for two months.
