Over the past five years the average price of apartments in new buildings in Moscow increased by 36% to 247 thousand rubles for one square meter. While new home business class for the same period rose by 14%, while the comfort class showed an increase of 24%. These findings were made in the development company Level Group.
Such significant growth is largely due to the fact that five years ago the prices were low because of the crisis, 2014-15, explained "RG" in the company. And last year the cost of housing has increased due to the reform of share building, and other factors. In addition, the prices are pretty steadily growing the whole five-year period.
The program of preferential mortgage supported demand in recent months in a pandemic. Therefore, this year prices for new buildings has also grown, but only slightly – the business segment gained 6%, and the comfort only 2%.
