The authorities of the Arkhangelsk region have introduced QR codes for visiting catering establishments and entertainment events. This is reported by the press service of the government of the region.

“From October 11, access to public catering outlets, as well as to mass, leisure, entertainment and other events in Pomerania will be possible only if there is a QR code about vaccination,” the message says.

You can also visit cafes, restaurants and mass events with a QR code about a disease suffered during the last six months or a negative PCR test valid for 72 hours.

The Kremlin urged to increase the rate of vaccination of Russians

The head of the Ministry of Health of the Arkhangelsk region, Alexander Gershtansky, said that over the past week the number of occupied beds in hospitals has increased from 2,114 to 2,272. 120 more places will be deployed in the near future.

The number of seriously ill patients has also increased in the region: at the beginning of June there were 83, and today there are 250 people.

According to Governor Alexander Tsybulsky, the pace of vaccination in the region leaves much to be desired. In the summer, 4-5 thousand people were vaccinated daily, now – about 1400.

Previously, the QR code system was introduced in the Vologda, Chelyabinsk, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara regions, Udmurtia and Perm Krai.
