From seven billion to four billion rubles can reduce the cost of production of the carrier rocket “Angara-A5”. This is stated in the notes to the financial statements of the Khrunichev Center for the past year.

According to the document, in the framework of “consolidation of internal reserve” is planned together with the Russian space Agency to carry out a number of measures to reduce cost of missiles, including the creation of a closed production cycle at the facilities AT the Polet in Omsk.

“the Implementation of these measures allows to reduce the cost of PH "Angara" from the current level of 7 billion roubles to 4 billion by 2024,” – said in the message.

Recall that flight tests of “Angara-A5” at the Plesetsk cosmodrome began in 2014. Serial production of the missiles is scheduled to begin in 2023 in Omsk.
