Chelsea FC apparently found what they were looking for in Seville when they were looking for a replacement for Antonio Rüdiger (29), who had migrated to Real Madrid.

Search for a defender: Chelsea are apparently trying to find Jules Koundé (23) from Sevilla FC as a replacement for Antonio Rüdiger (moving to Real Madrid on a free transfer), as reported by “Sportbild”. There is a transfer fee of up to 70 million euros in the room.

Repeat offenders: Chelsea and Koundé almost had a liaison last summer. At that time, however, the time at the end of the transfer window was no longer enough to reach an agreement.

Club sale: A prerequisite for the deal, however, is that the planned sale of Chelsea FC to US billionaire Todd Boehly goes through. Before that, the club may not be active on the transfer market.
