Vladimir Putin and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a “second half” of the negotiations. The Russian leader explained that part of the Russian delegation did not have time for the meeting in Sochi due to bad weather and will now have to clarify a number of issues in the extended format. In addition, Alexander Lukashenko will be able to meet new members of the Russian government, writes RIA Novosti news Agency.
Lukashenko, in turn, noted that this is the “fifth time”. The President of Belarus meant the first phase of negotiations and three periods of the hockey game, which played the heads of state.
Recall that in Sochi are Russian-Belarusian talks. The main topics were the issues of mutual interest, as well as concerning other countries of the former Soviet Union, Lukashenka added.
