Norwegian Swedish bride and her groom had to get married in a forest on the border between the two countries due to the fact that Norway does not let the Swedes into their territory.

Recall that the epidemiological situation in Sweden, which was not due to the coronavirus to enter the regime of self-isolation, is still unfavorable. For this reason, neighboring Norway has not made it to the list of countries whose citizens can freely cross its borders. But the lovers Camille Ojard and Alexander Clerk decided that they would not tolerate the wedding. The bride admitted in an interview with British radio station BBC that the original idea of the wedding on the border was a joke, because the guests, as thought the lovers are unlikely to want to go to the forest to attend the ceremony. But suddenly the couple their family and friends arrived for a wedding in the district of Holbeck. The ceremony was attended by two uninvited guests – the police, making sure that nobody crossed the border, marked with white ribbons. The bride and groom were on the Norwegian side, and some of the guests were Swedish, and clinked glasses with glasses with champagne on top of “border strips”.

“We wanted to become husband and wife. Love conquers all!” – said Camille.

Meanwhile, in the European media campaign lovers, separated by the closure of the borders in March: “Love is important”. Not only Norway, but also Austria, Denmark, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic provide their citizens and citizens of other countries to reunite in case the affair lasts longer than three months and they can prove it.
