Since 2013, the Museum of Gulag history creates an archive video interview “My GULAG”. Eyewitnesses of camp life to tell about it in a series of over 300 interviews. Heroes of video footage – former prisoners of the camps, the children of executed parents, children born in the camps, taken away from parents who found their families after decades, as well as employees of the Gulag.

Interviews have become part of the Museum’s archive, of which are mounted the films that we post on the website of the project mygulag.ru – the Director of the Museum of Gulag history novel Novels. – Their use in the Museum and travelling exhibitions throughout the country and has got us thinking about finding all the survivors in the years of repression and living.

the Museum of Gulag history was founded in 2001 by Anton Antonov-Ovseenko, who passed through the camp as the son of “enemy of the people”. Fond memories are created in 2016. His national project was the erection of the first monument to the victims of mass repressions “Wall of grief”. The wall opened in Moscow on 30 October 2017.
