The program of summer reading in an online format launched children’s Day in the libraries of Moscow, reported on the official website of the Moscow mayor.

"This citywide event will be held for the third time. We invite children of any age. All who fulfill the program – read works of choice and record their impressions of them will receive useful gifts. For example, books and certificates to bookstores. Registration of participants starts today, and the results will be drawn up on 20 September," – are reported words of the Deputy mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

She added that the first program is summer reading for school children and preschoolers held in 2018 under the slogan "Summer – time Hobbies!". The participants could take themed books in the city libraries, there they took their creative journals. The theme of the campaign in 2019 was traveling. Then the program was attended by over three thousand children and teenagers, they got in the library about 14 thousand books.

In order to join the action, the reader, independently or together with parents, must enter the site "Bibliagora" and to follow a few simple steps.

"you must First fill out the online application form, indicating the number of books that the child plans to read over the summer. There should be at least three. Then, from the offered list to select the district or one of the Central libraries of the city library named after A. P. Gaidar or library named after M. A. Svetlov. This must be done so that the organizers can plan for the conduct of ceremonies", – stated in the message.
