The city Council banned the so-called “low bar”. We are talking about retail sales of alcohol in bars and cafes in houses, with halls area less than 20 square meters, writes “Kommersant”.
City law was supported by 26 deputies, four voted against and five abstained.
The newspaper notes that the same rule in the area specified in the Federal law. It entered into force on 5 may. Almost half of the regions worked more stringent requirements, setting the minimum area of rooms in 50 square meters. This would put at risk the work of full-fledged restaurants.
