WASHINGTON, may 12 — RIA Novosti. the speaker of the house of representatives Nancy Pelosi called the coronavirus, “the greatest catastrophe in the history of the country.”
“More than 80 thousand Americans died, about 1.4 million were infected. Thirty-three million Americans filed for unemployment benefits. We all know these numbers. We are faced with the greatest catastrophe in the history of our country,” said Pelosi, in his statement on his page on Facebook.
She said that the Democrats 3 trillion a new aid package is “mostly” built on the four previous bills on support of the economy.
“Inaction is the path that will cost more,” he warned Pelosi.
