Authorities in Kostroma region have introduced additional restrictive measures in connection with the spread of the coronavirus infection, which will last until may 11. The main innovation was the ban on entry into the territory of the region of people from territories of other subjects of the Russian Federation.

the Decision to ban the entry of nonresident on the territory of Kostroma region authorities had taken the interdepartmental operational headquarters at the request of the chief sanitary doctor of the region. As explained in regional administration, to April 29, in the region identified 193 cases of infection with coronavirus infection. And by 30 April, the number of cases has increased to 211 people.

– More than 37 per cent of cases were infected while visiting other regions, about 75 percent of them in Moscow and Moscow region, – reported in the operational headquarters.

Among the cases found a “super-spreader” of infection who, after returning from another region in buysky district, violated the regime of self-isolation, arranging a party. As a result, among the guests there was a mass infection: sick of just ten people.

Under the new restrictive measures, from 6 am on 30 April to 24 hours on 11 may, the entrance to Kostroma oblast will be allowed only to citizens residing in the territory of the region, in transit, and arrived for treatment, attend a funeral or in connection with office necessity in enterprises and organizations, whose activities are not suspended.

Those who are on holidays in may will decide to come to the fire for friendly get-togethers and picnics, the authorities promised a “warm meeting” with the police and a two-week vacation in the Observatory.
