Denmark is one of the better situations in the world in relation to air pollution, but it may well happen that some of the world’s largest cities will need to take care of.

A study shows that citizens who are exposed to air pollution, have a significantly greater risk of dying of coronaviruses.

It is maybe not a big surprise, since it is publicly known that the virus can go to the assault on your lungs, and that it is therefore an advantage to have strong lungs.

But scientists have found that your risk of dying of the so-called covid-19 is 20 times larger, if you have been exposed to air pollution in 15-20 years. It writes The Guardian.

“the Results are statistically significant and robust. The study took into account a range of factors including levels of poverty, smoking, obesity, and the number of corona-testing and hospital beds available,” explains the researchers from Havard TH Chan School of Public Health.

the Study also shows that if the air had just been a small tooth more clean in recent years in Manhattan in New York city, so it could have saved hundreds of lives.

the Hope is that the report can make people and cities that are more exposed to air pollution, aware that there must be added the even more energy in the precautions.

They also believe that there is a connection between the many deaths in the north of Italy and air pollution. It is one of the areas in Europe with the highest air pollution.

the death rate in the area in march was measured to be around 12 percent, where the rest of Italy has a mortality rate of 4.5 percent.

“It is very possible that the covid-19 are a part of our lives for a long time in spite of our hopes for a vaccine or medication,” says Xiao Wu from the study team.

“In the light of it we should consider new points of departure in order to protect us from exposure to air pollution, so we can reduce the covid-19-the death toll,” he explains.

Therefore points out that it is important, in the future, to have a focus on how it is possible to avoid more air pollution.
