The checkpoint system introduced in Moscow because of the pandemic coronavirus infection COVID-19, will run until 14 June. About it the press service of the Department of information technologies of the city told RIA Novosti.

In the first half of April, as reported by “the Rambler”, the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin signed a decree “On introduction of high alert” (No. 12-MIND) and “About approval of the design and use of digital badges” (No. 43-UM).

Since then, to travel around the city on a personal, professional or public transport you must have a pass. It can be issued on the website of the mayor, by phone or via SMS.

Earlier some media reported that the checkpoint system can be used by the city authorities after the lifting of restrictions that were imposed because of the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection, for example, to regulate the entering flow of cars.

“To date, in accordance with the current editions of the decrees of the mayor’s permit system introduced for up to 14 of June”, — reported in the capital Department of information technology.
