There is a saying “Spite grandmother frostbitten his ears” – something similar happened with the leadership of the ruling party “law and justice”, which wanted at all costs to hold presidential elections on may 10, 2020. From this point, the situation on the Polish political scene began to resemble play of the theatre of the absurd.
Recall that the government decided the elections on may 10 not to, recognize them invalid and set a new date with a new election campaign. Since then it’s been three weeks, but the date of the elections and not appointed. All registered candidates became candidates in candidates. And the party got the opportunity to look at the ratings of its nominees and to see if they made a bet last winter, when the campaign had just begun. Simultaneously it became known that 73 percent of the voters of her party plan to follow the recommendation of Kidawa-Blonski and to boycott the presidential elections. So the party “Civic coalition” decided to take the opportunity to replace the candidate. May 15, Pani małgorzata alone left to journalists and declared that withdraws the candidacy. Her colleagues already decided what to replace fundamental Kidavo Blogsku. And the choice fell on the young and charismatic mayor of Warsaw rafał Trzaskowski, who just a year ago, he swore that he had no presidential ambitions, and he plans to devote his life to serving residents of the Polish capital.
the Result: in just two weeks Trzaskowski took votes away from the incumbent President and some other competitors, now for him, planning to vote and 21 percent of poles, and for Anidea tune of 35 percent. This means that to avoid the second round will fail, and in it, according to polls of Institute of research Instytut Badań Pollster, the chances of the opponent are almost equal: of 51.32 percent of votes Andrzej Duda and 48.68 percent of Rafal Trzaskowski. And this is only the beginning of the struggle, because the closest possible date for the elections on 28 June.
